On Saturday, August 21st, from 8:30 a.m. - 12noon the Animal Welfare Society will be conducting a roadside collection at the corner of S Samuel @ E Washington St.

On Saturday, August 21st at 12noon there will be a parade conducted by the Jefferson County NAACP that will travel from N George St to Washington St to S Lawrence St to S Charles St.
