Upcoming Events:

On Friday, September 3rd, from 7 PM - 10 PM  is the 2nd Annual 1st Friday Concert Series featuring the musical group Cazhmiere that will be performing in Downtown Charles Town - N Charles St. between Washington & Liberty. Bring lawn chairs! Rain Location: Ranson Civic Center.

 

On Saturday, September 4th, from 10 AM - 3 PM is the 2nd Annual Car Show that will be from E to W Washington St (4 blocks) as well as Liberty St (4 blocks) and also Charles St & Lawrence St (2 blocks). All stores and restaurants will be Open for Business. Entertainment & Activities include DJ, 50/50 Drawing, Door Prizes every 1/2 hour, Moonbounce, Clown, and Facepainting. Registration begins at 9 AM and the 1st - 2nd - 3rd Place Trophies will be awarded at 3 PM. Pre-registration is available online at: www.charlestownwv.us

 

On Saturday, September 4th, 8 AM - 4 PM will be the American Legion Yard Sale and can be found at the rear parking lot of the American Legion off of Congress St in front of Wright Denney Middle School.

 

On Saturday, September 18th, 10 AM - 6 PM is the Heritage Festival in Downtown Charles Town. Entertainment and Activities will be available for all ages: Harriet Tubman Storyteller, Craft Fair, Colonial Kids Games, 1786 Dinner & Dance, Great Food, Miners Treason Trial Play, Fife and Drum Corps, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Face Painting and more.

 

On Saturday, September 25th, 8 AM - 3 PM will be the Annual Boot Drive for Citizen's and Independent Fire Co. Donations will be accepted at the 100 block of E Washington St.
